Off-iceĀ goalie trainingĀ is an important component to success on the ice.Ā Our goal with this program is to ensure goaltenders learn preparation routines, improve performance results, and become aware of how to take care of their body as a goaltender and minimize any injury.Ā This program will be run by Newfoundland Growlers and Xtreme TrainingĀ Strength & Conditioning coach Jon Reid.
Location: Wednesdays @5pm in Xtreme Training Facility
Dates: September 18th - December 18th, 2024 (14 Weeks)
Size of Groups:Ā maximum of 10 goaltenders
About the Program
We will focus on five pillars through the sessions: Mobility & Flexibility, Speed & Agility, Strength, Stamina and Injury Prevention. See below for more information on each of the pillars.
